Drills

The Boomerang can be set up and used in a vast array of configurations providing coaches and players a degree of versatility to invent and create their own drills which is unrivalled by any other basketball training device in the world. Coaches and players can used the different configuration options to create shot opportunities which simulate those expected out of their systems, or to simply provide variety to their shooting practices..

The Boomerang is the ultimate basketball training aid and its use is only limited by your imagination..

The Boomerang can be used:

• As a stand alone pass training device ("Pass Back™") with either a "single" rebound net or up to 4 rebound nets making it possible to use the device from up to 4 directions at the same time. The "Pass Back™" unit can rebound passed basketballs up to 10 metres (33 feet) back to the passer..

• With a "single" or "dual" chute only (i.e. no ramp) having returned basketballs roll out of the chute/s and bounce back to the user. Single chutes can be attached on either the "high" or "low" mounting position..

• With either a "single" or "dual" ramps attached, or one chute and one ramp. Ball return ramps are extendable and retractable can slew through an unrestricted 225° range of motion and return both "made" and "missed" shots to anywhere on the court within a 7.4 metre (24 feet) radius from the basket (i.e. outside the NBA three point line)..

• With a "Pass Back™" rebound frame used in conjunction with either single or dual chutes or ramps..

• With or without the detachable "ball stop"..

Check back from time to time as we will soon be posting more drill videos on this page!

Boomerang can be used for younger, smaller, developing players

The Boomerang is the perfect basketball training aid for younger, smaller developing players.
Assuming they have the physical development required, the Boomerang greatly assists younger (or shorter) players to fully utilise the power from their legs in order to release the ball at the optimum trajectory (i.e. correct arc). When combined with proper backspin (as seen below), using the Boomerang produces a high arching, soft, "forgiving" shot which "often" dies on the rim and falls in; i.e. "The Shooter's Touch"! Regular use of the Boomerang develops "muscle memory", so that "Shooter's Touch" stays with you when the Boomerang is no longer there, i.e. in practice scrimmages and in games!

As seen here the Boomerang can also be used with the optional "Pass Back" feature to provide more game like "catch and shoot" practice opportunities when practicing on your own.
The Boomerang can be used in the driveway or backyard with "any" 10' high portable basketball ring and backboard system
